Pottery Classes for Kids & Teens

Summer is for fun and creativity!
Our youth summer program invites kids and teens to explore their imagination through clay. Whether guided by a theme or inspired by spontaneous ideas, young artists will shape, sculpt, and bring their visions to life in a playful, hands-on environment.

Semester Wheel Classes

Pottery Classes for Kids & Teens

    TEEN ONE TIME WHEEL CLASS

    FEE $70 1.5 hrs..

    Explore the art of wheel throwing and enjoy an immersive, hands-on experience.

    You can use as much clay as you'd like and keep 1 FREE piece. If you would like to keep extra pieces, an additional fee of 0.05 per cubic inch/cm, for extra piece they choose to add.

    They can choose from a selection of studio dipping glazes for your pieces. The studio will prepare, glaze, and fire their pieces, which will be ready for pickup in about four weeks after firing.

    No prior experience is needed—Each session concludes with a 15-minute cleanup period. Students should arrive on time, dressed in comfortable clothing that can get messy.

    TEEN SUMMER PROGRAM WHEEL & HAND BUILDING CLASS

    FEE $250 FOR 6 WEEKS 2 HRS EACH CLASS

    Welcome to the summer. For both beginners and intermediate students. Participants will explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding, learning to navigate each technique separately or in combination based on their skill level, class dynamics, and personal creative direction.

    What Students Will Learn:

    🔹 Wheel Throwing
    🔹 Handbuilding
    🔹 Surface Decoration

    All materials, clay, tools & firing included– students are free to use as much clay as they like.

    Firing & Pickup – Approximately four weeks after the course ends.
    Class Etiquette – Each session concludes with a 15-minute cleanup period. Students should arrive on time, dressed in comfortable clothing that can get messy. Welcome to bring snacks and water.

  • TEEN ONE TIME HANDBUILDING

    FEE $75 2hrs.

    Our friendly, expert instructors will guide your teen through every step, making it fun and easy to shape and mold clay into unique creations.

    Each class includes 2 pieces. Want to create more? Additional pieces can be fired for just $0.05 per cubic inch (or cm). Finished pieces will be available for pickup in about four weeks.

  • Kids Summer Program

    FEE $395 For 5 days (Monday-Friday)

    August 25th to the 29th 2025

    9:30am to 12:30pm

    Young kids will enjoy their time exploring the use of clay. One at a time introduction to the wheel next to the instructor. Using clay handcrafting for all around a theme of “where the wild things are”.

    What Students Will Learn:

    FEE $125 Includes 1 adult 1 child 2hrs.

    1.5 Hrs.

    All equipment, clay, and glazes are included—Gather the family for an interactive and joyful time! Children 7 yes of age and up.

    Our friendly, expert instructors will guide your through every step, making it fun and easy to shape and mold clay into unique creations.

    Each class includes 1 piece per person adult and child each.  Want to create more? Additional pieces can be fired for just $0.05 per cubic inch (or cm). Finished pieces will be available for pickup in about four weeks.

    TEEN SUMMER CAMP

    FEE $525
    5 Days 3 Hours Per Session

    Let your teen’s creativity shine in our weeklong pottery camp, daily from 1 to 4pm, designed for ages 13 and up! Students will explore both pottery wheel and hand-building techniques.

    On the wheel, they’ll learn the fundamentals of wedging, centering, lifting, and trimming to create unique pottery. Through hand-building, they’ll master slab, coil, and pinching techniques to craft their pieces.

    Each student will receive personalized guidance based on their skill level from our instructors. Teens will get to keep up to 10 of their best creations and select their glaze colors. Finished pieces will be available for pickup in about one week after camp ends.

    A light snack is provided daily, but we recommend bringing a hearty snack and water bottle, especially for those with allergies.
